  Welcome to GoLive CyberStudio

Through this page we would like you to submit passages of scripture that has touched you in some way so that maybe it will have an effect on somebody else's life, if you would also like to write a short meaning of that passage along with it. it would be great to be able to use it
Proverbs 3 v 5-6 " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: in all ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" Let this passage encourage you if you are not saved to commit your life to God, God will be with you all the way through thick and thin, this passage encouraged me as a young Christian as I went through some of the toughest times in my life.

Psalm 31 v 24 "Be Strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the Lord" From this passage take encouragement to keep going in the work of the Lord at this time, our reward is in a far better place than on this country

John 13 v 35 "Men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" Always be there for your friends at any time, show the Love of Christ through the way you stand by them through hard times. This is one of the best types of witnessing to the unsaved, its not direct but it is sincere.

Revelation 3 v 20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock" What keeps us back from becoming a Christian? There are two things that hold us back from this - (1) Fear - We pull back from becoming a Christian because we fear what our friends will say and also because we fear we will not be able to walk the walk -but take courage as God has planned our lives and He will take us through any hard times or situations that we have. (2) Self-sufficiency - Why do we need God when we think we have everything? The answer is that we do need God because when we meet God in eternity what worldly possessions we have here on earth will be irrelevant, so while we have time on this earth we should commit our lives to the God Almighty so that when we meet him in eternity we will have the most important possession of all - A Heart that has been cleaned by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

1 John 5 v 4 "Every Child of God can defeat the world, and our faith is what gives us the Victory" Let us through our Faith go out and expand the Kingdom of God in the lives that we live, whether it is through our work, social life or church life - if we combine as one we can make a diference to this world.

Job 3 v's 25 - 26 "What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness, I have no rest but only turmoil" What do we take out of this passage - there is a message in it for both the saved and the unsaved. Firstly the unsaved how is your life without Christ, do you really beleive yourself that you are happy without Him in your life? Be honest with yourself! With asking Jesus into your heart you will have eternal peace in your life, not just a peace on earth which you might think that you have at the present! to do this simple thing all you have to do is ask Jesus into your life and ask Him to forgive your sins that you have committed. Secondly the Saved do you ever think why is this not go according to plan? It is in hard times that we usually turn to God the most, God usually sends us these trials to remind us that we need to spend time with Him everyday, from my own experience I have learnt this, God had to hit me with things in my life when i wasn't spending time with Him, eventually I said to myself that i am going to make sure I keep meeting him everyday, this does not guarantee you an easy life but it makes it an awful lot easier, keep in contact with the master and your life will be Blessed!

Be Thankful for what we have - This is a personal thought. I think at the minute as young people we don't be thankful enough to God for the things we have in our lives, nowadays we take so much for granted. At present I look at the amount of young people who are losing there life through car accidents on our roads, I praise God everyday that he took me out of a bad accident without any injuries but I know that if he had taken me from the face of this earth I was ready to meet Him face to face. I know what young boys are like especially going to parties and they try to look cool by reving there cars or spinning there wheels but do we really think of the consequences of it slightly going wrong, we never know what is round the next corner. People be careful in what we do in our everyday lives and be thankful for what you have, God always answers prayers, the answer might not be what we want but we will thank Him for the answer He give us someday down the line. Young people enjoy yourselves but do this under the banner of God, show Love to one another, do not show favourtism to any group of people, lets all pull together and promote God's Love in this land. Some people say we are the generation of tomorrow but we are the generation of today so lets make us count

God Bless - Keith

THE VERSE IS,PSALM 46V1 "GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND STENGTH,A VERY PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE"

I picked this verse because my mum died last year on the 3rd of June and it has been that verse that has kept me close to the Lord since. I know He will always be there for me and if anubody reads this that mayby they are going through a hard time at the moment this verse is a good encouragement. The Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.

Just a Short Story for All!
A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something.
As his car passed, no children appeared. Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and drove the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.
The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, "What was that all about and who are you? Just what are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?"
The young boy was apologetic. "Please, mister... please, I'm sorry... I didn't know what else to do," He pleaded. "I threw the brick because no one else would stop..." With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. "It's my brother," he said. "He rolled off the curb  and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up."
Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, "Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me."
Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out his fancy handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay.
"Thank you and may God bless you," the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.
It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message "Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!"
God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice.

James 2 v 19 - "You beleive that there is one God. Good! Even the demons beleive that, and shudder"
This verse is very powerfull in that it shows that even demons have a fear of God. This shows that God is the only way forward in our life and that through being a Christian we can have the faith to bring us through anything. If you beleive that there is only one God but you are not a committed follower I beleive that this verse will lead you to making that commitment s you will have everlasting life.

Ephesians 5:19 - "speak to each other with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making music in your hearts to the Lord

Lets use our talents whatever they are so that we can praise the Lord in anyway we can. That's the aim of Foundation.

Phillipians Ch 4 v 13

"You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you"

This is a great verse if your feeling down or had a hard day I keep it written down on my desk, it gets me through a hard day! laura
